We are pleased to introduce you to the infamous stray we call Fergie. We have been trying to capture Fergie for about a year - several litters worth. Finally, she gave up during a frigid evening in the snow and ice and she was very pregnant. We got her home just in time for her to give birth to nine pups on Jan 2, 2010. Her pups have all been adopted now (March) and it's Mama's time for her forever home. Fergie is anyone's guess as far as age and breed mix. She is sweet and intelligent but understandably cautious around people. Being with us and realizing warmth, food, and love for her first time has given her much confidence and she's well on her way to trust again. We feel she is about 2 years old with a submissive, gentle spirit. We feel she'll thrive in a quiet home with few if any other dogs so we prefer her without young kids or other agressive dogs. Six foot privacy fence a must. We spayed Fergie on 3/19/10 and brought her current on her shots. She is waiting for you! Fergie needs a foster!
