Pepper & Smokey – A Bonded Senior Pair Pepper is a spirited 13-year-old lady with a dark gray coat and a striking black stripe down her back. Her beautiful “eyeliner” eyes are just as expressive as her personality! Though she’s a senior, Pepper still has plenty of playful energy. She loves zooming around the house, batting Q-tips, chasing catnip mice, and indulging in her favorite catnip. Pepper is affectionate and full of character, greeting you with loud, happy purrs, and loves curling up for a nap either at the head of the bed or snuggled right next to her best friend, Smokey. She brings joy, laughter, and energy to every day, and her playful antics are endlessly charming. Smokey, Pepper’s devoted companion, is a gentle 15-year-old gentleman with gorgeous gray long hair and subtle light undertones. His eyes are highlighted with equally stunning “eyeliner,” giving him a distinguished, thoughtful look. Smokey is more reserved and timid, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly loving. He loves to curl up beside you, purring contentedly, and finds deep comfort in being brushed every 3–4 days to keep his luxurious coat tangle-free. Smokey is also on Methimazole, administered in his ear, at a cost of about $64 every three months, which helps him stay healthy and comfortable. Together, Pepper and Smokey form a remarkable bonded pair. Pepper’s lively energy and playful antics perfectly complement Smokey’s calm, soothing presence. They adore each other, often snuggling together for naps and comforting one another. This pair is looking for a forever home where they can remain together, sharing their love, companionship, and joy with a family who will appreciate both Pepper’s spirited charm and Smokey’s gentle, snuggly heart.
