Socks  is a 3-year-old tricolor Corgi who is ready for a forever home. He has had a bit of a rough start in life but is extremely loving and affectionate, and ready for a forever home.
Socks  appears to have been kenneled or kept inside his whole life and he can get very nervous in open outdoor spaces. He has been improving but is still very easily startled, especially by loud noises, and can get very nervous just being outside. He has been doing very well with daily walks on the greenway, both for exercise and desensitizing him, but his adopter needs to understand that it will take some time for him to become comfortable being outside. For this reason, a fenced yard is necessary so he can acclimate.
Socks  is medium-high in energy and being a Corgi, needs mental and physical stimulation to thrive, along with plenty of exercise. He hasn’t shown interest in toys but should be able to learn in time. He is extremely playful with other dogs and would love to have another confident dog to play with.

Socks  appears to be house trained but has been marking. His neuter should reduce this in time.
