We recently rescued two horses. The mare, Molly, was pregnant and gave birth in our care. Molly is 6. She had her colt, Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 9:00 PM and we've named him Titan. (He is big, long legs and will probably also be a paint like the other horse, Brees.) Our vet thinks Molly is a Paso Fino. She is only about 14 - 14.2. We have her with her colt whom she is very protective of - not mean, just protective.
Both adults had coggins pulled - both negative. Now have all shots, etc. and given clean bill of health although Brees could stand to put on some weight.
