Meet Gurlee Rae 

 

Gurlee Rae is a stunning one-year-old sweetheart with the most unforgettable eyes — one warm brown and one icy blue — and a gentle soul to match.

Her story hasn’t been easy. She was rescued from a government housing area after being separated from her puppies and left outside in subfreezing temperatures. Despite everything she’s been through, Gurlee Rae has shown nothing but softness and kindness.

She is very sweet, but naturally timid at first. Gurlee Rae will need a patient, understanding adopter who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and build trust. Once she bonds, her tender personality truly shines.

She has shown no aggression whatsoever and absolutely loves playing with her foster brother, Teddy. In fact, she feels her bravest with a doggy companion by her side. Because of this, she would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help her continue blossoming.
