We rescued Jose from a kill shelter the day he was to be put down due to overcrowding. He was scared to death being there as he is a small dog and very displaced as a 9 year old would be.  His handler at the shelter reported to us:
"He seems like a really nice guy who is just scared to death to be where he is. He just sits there and shakes. His eyes are clear and his teeth don't seem to me to have much plaque build up on them so I'm not sure if he is really 9 or not. This is a nice boy who deserves to live. I liked him very,very much."

We have had Jose neutered and brought current on shots. This gentleman requires a quiet home without children or many other dogs - preferrably someone who is retired or home a lot. Photos are from the kill shelter - more to come.
