Clarabelle is a sweet 1 year old Boxer/Lab mix that came to us on Jan. 2, 2011 as an owner surrender.  Later that night she delivered TEN puppies in one of our marvelous foster homes.

Sweet little Clarabelle has been spayed and is ready to go to her new forever home!  She's petite, shy and feminine.  A happy girl, she'll give you kisses but not overwhelm you.

Clarabelle is not a barker.  When the cats talk to her she will whine a little as her way of talking back.  She does get along with the indoor cat and outdoor cat but has not been allowed to freely chase one when it runs.  The cats can paw at her nose or paw and Clarabelle just wags her tail.

Clarabelle enjoys spending time in her crate just as much as laying next to you on the couch or bed.  She is leash trained, house trained and rides well in a car.  When she was in boarding she was scared to death and when she arrived in a foster home she immediately perked up and gained weight.  It could have been the noise of the boarding facility, but she didn't do well there, so there could be a possibility she won't be able to have canine housemates.  She has enjoyed playing with other dogs (all on leashes) at our Adoption Events, though.

Clarabelle plays well on her own or with her person.  She's an easy to care for girl, and VERY happy.
