COURTESY POSTING. Sam is a very spry senior pooch who loves sniffing out new things on walks (and treats, of course!). He is excellent with children- he is very patient and gentle, and will retreat for a snooze if he needs a break from little ones, but never snaps. He is crate-trained and he rings a bell on the door when he needs to go out. His hearing is limited, but he responds to hand signal commands (a 'stop' hand by his face means 'sit'). He is a very quiet beagle, and almost never 'howls' like many hounds may do. He LOVES people, and will likely follow you from room to room and settle in for a nap by your feet. He is generally a sweet, sleepy, friendly beagle, who deserves a comfy, loving home to spend his senior years. Let him be your devoted companion!
