On April 9, 2011 Proverbs rescued several cats from being euthanized in another state. Pansy Mae was one of those and during her very first night of freedom (at her new foster home) she delivered Poppy, a little girl.

Poppy gets along well with kittens and cats and doesn't mind sharing her Mom and toys.

Poppy is a well-behaved little rambunctious kitty. She was named for a dark, almost black flower. She loves to explore and play tag, but is very friendly and affectionate toward both felines and humans. She made her debut at our Adoption Event on May 28, 2011 and did very well. Poppy will make you laugh at her funny antics - she flips upside down to catch a ball, and leaps backwards if she is startled.

Her mother is Pansy Mae who is also available for adoption.
