Sophie came into rescue after being kept in a home that had been forclosed on, in the basement in the dark in a travel crate with little room to move.  Let out one time daily to potty and eat.  This went on for 3 months until she was brought to rescue by a caring neighbor.  She had an injured front leg that has been looked at by an orthopedic specialist.  He states she will use her leg 50% of the time, but is in no pain, and the leg does not need to be removed.  She runs like nothing is wrong with the leg, gets along great.  She does need to have a home with a fenced yard. Will dart for the door everytime it is open.  So adopter will need to be aware of this, also would perfer her to be only dog.  She seems to love a lot of attention, only on her.  But she is a very sweet girl and loves to sleep under the covers with you.  Total lap dog.
