Daphnie is VERY high energy and must have a fenced yard or plenty of property to run in/on. She is a little overweight but will probably lose weight quickly if she gets more time off leash. She is very loving and wants to sit in my lap as much as possible. She adores cats and other dogs her size. She is sometimes fearful of large dogs and does not care for the dog park. (A big dog flipped her on her back and laid down on her at the dog park.) But she plays very well with the dogs in the neighborhood that she knows. She does pretty well with her housetraining but cannot go all day while I am at work; she uses the weewee pads faithfully. I think she might not be good with small kids as she is very enthusiastic and might knock them down. She loves to be chased and her nicknames are Daffodil and Freckle Face.
