Bella is a darling 5 year old 7 pound deer head Chihuahua. She is dark chocolate brown and has a soft, shiny, silky coat. She was abandoned by her former owners and left behind when they moved out. We’re not sure how long she was in the home alone, but when she came to us, she was very thin and had severe separation anxiety due to being abandoned. She has put on a little weight and has been spayed, vaccinated and fully vetted. She is house trained, gets along well with all the other dogs, and she loves to run and play in the yard. Chase is one of her favorite games. She is content to curl up on the dog bed or in a sunny spot for a catnap, but what she loves most is to cuddle in your lap while you read the morning paper or watch tv. She is a little timid at first, but once she decides you’re her friend, she will follow you anywhere. She likes to ride in the car, go for long walks or sit with you outside while you relax. She would do best in a home where there was another dog to keep her company (and no young children). If her new owner worked only part-time or worked from home, she would be so happy! She is comfortable sleeping with the other dogs on a dog bed, but would love to sleep on the bed with you if you’d let her. She is a wonderful companion who will stand up and beg for a treat, but does require a fenced yard. Could you be Bella’s forever home???
