Hello, my name is Bella. A few months ago my first owners abandoned me when they
moved from an apartment complex in Dickson, TN. A neighbor discovered me. She
fed me and looked after me until she found me a home with a retired lady who
worked part-time with her.
Me and my new Mom get along great. My favorite spot to sleep inside of the house is beside her bed. Mom bought me nice comfy doggie bed to sleep on, but I just like to sleep on the carpet.
Mom is a foster Mom to teenage girls so I have had the privilege of being loved
by several lovely ladies these past few months. I love kids of any age and
adults as well. My house manners are good. Every now and then I might have an
accident on the floor if I haven't been out in a while. Very seldom though.
I was very timid when I first came to live with my Mom and I didn't like
the kitchen. But now I am definitely not timid and will eat my meals in the
kitchen.
Attention, I love it! Brushing, scratching, hugging. You name it I like it!
My shots are up-to-date and I am taking heart worm preventative. I have already
been spayed. Baths are no big deal for me because when you live in a house full
of women you have no choice but to let the ladies experiment with new hairstyles
on you!
I really don't want to leave Mom, but I have a bad habit that puts my
life in danger! Mom lives on a busy road and doesn't have a fenced
yard and at her age she cannot afford to install one on her limited income. What
is my bad habit? Any time I see the opportunity I dart out the door and run,
run, run all over the neighborhood and yes, across the street in front of cars
while Mom is standing helplessly on the front porch. Once outside I am
real stubborn and won't come in until I am ready.
Mom really loves me and likes my company, but she knows I would be better off
and safer with a loving family who has a fenced yard, where I could run where I want to. I
like to chase squirrels.
I am a beautiful young pretty reddish blonde. Even though I am a dog I am
quiet as a mouse in the house, except for a little snoring now and then!
