This is Ellie Mae. She is a 6 year old Bichon (born 8/23/06) who was
originally purchased in a mall pet store. She lived with the same family who
home schooled their children until they lost their home. Ellie is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. She had her teeth cleaned & bladder stones removed surgically on 5/24/12 and has completely healed from the surgery.
Ellie Mae is housebroken and a wonderful, sweet dog. She loves children and other dogs of all sizes. She does have allergies that cause her to chew on herself if
she is not kept on a strict diet. Currently she is eating 1/4 cup of Royal
Canine Urinary SO kibbles twice daily and she gets these same kibbles as her
"treats". She also takes 5 mg of Benadryl twice daily. This seems to be
controlling her itching. She would be a great addition to any home that is
willing to maintain her special diet and realizes that she may form bladder
stones in her future requiring another surgery to have them removed.
