Maggie was found as a stray and surrendered to us.  She is good w/ kids, very smart and playful.  while listed as a Corgi mix, the vet said No particular breed stands out.  She kinda has the coloring of a shepherd, speckle front legs like a heeler, a face similar to a JRT, alittle corgi looking, and possibly a little chi.  The folks at BAH didn't mention shepherd but did mention the other possible breeds.  She is only 18 lbs and almost a year old.  Very slender (not thin) looking body.

Update from foster 9/18

Here is the good news about Maggie. She appears to housebroken, and while she likes to steal things like stuffed animals and shoes, she is more of a collector than a chewer. She is smart,smart,smart, loves to fetch and play. For a palyful dog, she is able to settle herself down when needed. I bet she would love doing agility. The challenge with her is that she is a barker. She doesn't like being left alone so would recommend a home where someone is generally around.  She'd benefit from another dog with similar energy but she probably wouldn't be good with a famiily with an older dog. She has been great with my kids, but because of her jumping and excitability..no little ones under 8.
