Lyla was found as a stray and was flea infested and suffering upper respiratory and urinary tract infections on top of being very thin and missing her front right leg and very timid around people. Thanks to her wonderful foster, she has fully recovered from the infections, has gained weight and is now a loving, happy girl that loves to go to the dog park and lay on the couch for lots of attention. Lyla loves everyone. She gets along with other dogs and children. Anytime she has been near cats she basically ignores them, however she has not had any long term exposure to them. She likes her toys and to play outside so a home with a fenced yard for her to play would be ideal. Don't tell Lyla she only has 3 legs, the way she runs and plays she doesn't seem to realize this - it certainly doesn't slow her down but she should continue with daily glucosamine and chondroitin tablets to help prevent arthritis as she gets older.
