*** COURTESY LISTING - ALL INQUIRIES WILL BE FORWARDED**** Jones is such a laid back sweetie! This gorgeous boy was found as a stray and brought into the shelter where he quickly became a favorite. He was very social at the shelter playing well with other dogs. Since opening up our home to Jones we have yet to hear him utter a peep. Whether he's in the car, going for a walk, or sleeping in his crate he is quite as a mouse. Even while walking past barking dogs he stays calm and just keeps strolling by happily. This precious boy is so easy to please and is very motivated by treats. He knows "sit" and picked up "lay down" pretty quickly. We are working on stay :-). He wants to be by your side so getting him to stay somewhere while you walk away is tough for him. His happiest place to be is laying on the couch or going for a little walk. Not a big chewer, he's not that interested in his toys, but he has plenty just in case he changes his mind. Jones is also house trained! If this boy sounds too good to be true I think it's because he is......he is going to make someone such a wonderful companion. Update :-)! Our boy is doing fantastic!! He might possibly be the best dog I've ever been around. He goes to his crate without pitching a fit, never tries to escape, and we still haven't heard a peep out of him. People come to the door and he literally doesn't even get off the couch to greet them. A guard dog he definitely is not haha. We haven't tried but we think he would probably follow us around without a leash. We have him on one but he stays at our side so well we think he would do fine without one. He's just so receptive to correction! If he does anything a little out of line and we have to use a stern voice he will listen....not stubborn at all. He's happy with a small walk a day and then back to lounging. We've also discovered he loves ice cubes. When one falls out of the freezer and dives for it. It's actually the fastest we ever see him move! ha! Oh and the best part....he knows his name! We absolutely adore him and want to keep him until the BEST home to offer comes along.
