My name is Charlie Thompson. I am a sweet Shepherd mix boy who has had some rough times. A nice young man found me abandoned in Nashville on the city streets.(Thanks Tom) He worked hard to find a rescue to take me and that is where Proverbs 12:10 comes into my life.At this point(July 7) I am a thin boy in need of TLC. You see I have had my fair share of lonely nights: foraging for food, scratching at fleas, and fighting flies. My ears are each missing the tips where fleas and flies destroyed the tissue. It's ok;it gives me a unique look,but I am thankful those days are over. I have been scolded for loitering when I simply didn't have a place to go. I have been ignored and shunned. I have known sleepless, hungry nights, and loneliness. Proverbs 12:10 sees what a sweet boy I am. I love all dogs and people. I am being vetted and will be ready for a home soon. Please, oh please consider me. I know those cute puppies are tempting,but I promise to be your loyal friend, ever grateful for your love. I want to watch the evening news with you, ride to the Dairy Queen for an occasional treat, and to sleep by your bed. Make my long overdue dreams come true.....
