Wishbone was found as a stray when foster stoppeon a remote road to reset te gps, and out of thewoods came this puppy. This pitiful little puppybleeding, and dragging a broken leg. Could see every bone and the end of his tail missing. Amazingly enough this poor creature was wagging his little tail and was all kisses and happy face to see us. We loaded this baby up and took him backhome to Nashville. We took him to the vet and it was determined he was about 4months old then. The vet concluded that the leg had been broken when he was about 2 1/2 months old. No telling how long this baby had been in the woods. He had a completely bald place around this hind leg where it looks like a rope had been tied (for a long time) and I'm assuming that somehow this is how his leg had gotten broken. I'm afraid to guess. We have since had his leg fixed, he has been neutered, micro chipped, wormed and had all his shots. He is very smart. In minutes we have been able to teach him, the sit, stay, lay commands and he will bring a ball and put it right in your hand. His training has all been food motivated, but he is very eager to learn. We don't know what his breed is, but I'm thinking it is predominately some kind of hound. He is sweet and playful and very appreciative of his new life. Now we need to find this baby a forever home.
