***Courtesy Listing - All inquiries will be forwarded*** Cruizer was rescued from a high kill, over populated shelter in Middle TN where he was literally less than three hours away from a horrible ending.; Our rescue is offering him a new beginning! If you love the Chihuahua breed, then you will love Cruiser.†And if you have never considered a Chihuahua, then Cruizer will change your mind! He is a doll baby! As most typical Chihuahuas, the first few minutes he meets you he is shy and scared, but after a few minutes and a comfy lap, he is your new best friend. Cruiser is house trained and has great indoor manners. He is affectionate and loyal to his family. If you sit down, he will jump right into your lap! If we were going to rename him, it would be “Cuddle Bug!”€ Cruizer is currently in a foster home with two large seniors and just goes about his business as usual. He doesn’t€™t seem to want to waste a minute of his time away from his human friends, but if you are busy, he quietly puts himself to bed in his crate and patiently waits for his name to be called. If allowed, he snuggles up right next to you at bed time, or if you prefer, will sleep quietly in his crate next to you. Easy, easy dog! Additionally, Cruizer is a quiet dog! His foster family and their two teenage girls adore him and the first thing when they get home from school is to race in and scoop him up and cart him to their bedroom to do homework. He is just such a loyal companion! Another added plus is that he does his business quickly outside and races back to the house. Often he goes to the door and scratches the door to let you know he is ready to go out. We are not sure he realizes he is not human as he ignores the other dogs! We are looking for a loving home for him with children over the age of 10 as this is our policy when placing Chihuahuas.; The activity level of most toddlers is usually not conducive to a Chihuahua’s personality. His foster home does have children but they are a very experienced foster family.
