While she still looks a bit sad, and she certainly still has skin issues, Mama Mildred, one of the pitiful mange dogs we got freed from a four foot chain in Hickman County, is tonight in a foster home. She has been hospitalized since Januar
y 26th, when she, along with her puppies were taken to Cornerstone on an emergency call.
Today, one of our wonderful volunteers graciously opened up her home to Mildred and her two pups, Michael and Maria. They have so far to go, but they are warm, have had all medical needs met, have meds to continue and are one step closer to having the life a dog should have.
