Wiz came to us as an owner surrender. He's doing great in his foster home with several other dogs. He loves the small to med size ones, but the big Lab scares him and he does not want anything to do with him. But it's a new enviroment to him, but think best to find a home with dogs his size. He does prefer to have other dogs around, he's very happy and wags his tail and follows them around.
For a tiny guy, he's pretty good with being housetrained. Is using a pee pad and goes when taken outside on lead. But still has hiked too, so watch him and take out often as his bladder is very tiny too. He's on a long lead when outside so he can run all over, but never to be left outside alone for one second. He's the size a bird would pick up. Also prefer in a home with kids 10 yrs and older, as he can easily be stepped on.
Funny he loves my husband who is not the one doting all over him. But when he's around he wants to lay by him, then growls at me. So adorable. But soon moves on and forgets that, and I carry him around. He's fine to lay by himself on the floor, does not have to be on you at all times. Loves to explore, but doesn't like to be left alone when he could be with the pack. So I think a home with another small dog is perfect for him.
