Why am I not adopted yet? The Proverbs Cat People are scratching their heads over this. Ava is precious! She loves to be picked up and held. She will rest her chin on your shoulder. Ava is a calm and quiet girl. She is not a big lap cat, but will jump on your lap at night and make biscuits if you have a warm blanket. She is a beautiful girl...her pictures don't do her justice. She is great with dogs and will peacefully coexist with cats. Ava likes to hop! She does this when she is excited to see you and wants to get ready to show you how she can dash across the house! She loves to throw herself on the floor and roll around. She likes getting a belly rub when she does this. Ava is entertained by watching the birds eat at the birdfeeder. She will rest her paw on the window and watch them. She has a cardboard scratcher and she loves when it is sprinkled with catnip. She naps on it too. She also likes to try and nap in things that are too small for her - like a wicker basket half her size. Switching her food suddenly may cause her to vomit. We recommend a grain-free dry food.
