Ginger is a young girl who was found abandoned when her owners moved away. She stayed on their porch waiting for them to come back. She had a broken pelvis and was emaciated. She is thriving in her current foster home and is now housebroken.

Ginger LOVES to wrestle with other dogs and has a lot of energy. Sometimes she will limp a little, and then it is time for her to rest. However, her legs and pelvis do not bother her from her old injury on an average day.

Ginger is very submissive and will lay belly-up if scolded by a human or dog. She is crate-trained.

Ginger MUST have a fenced-in backyard as she is prone to following her nose deep into the woods. She also does NOT know to avoid the road and must be leashed at all times if you have her outside your yard. Be careful- she tries to sneak out when the front door is opened sometimes. Not all the time though. She's learning.

She is much stronger than she looks and will pull on a leash when being walked in a park, especially if you are walking two dogs at the same time. She needs a confident owner with a strong arm to train her on a leash and to teach her to heel.

She loves to chew and again, WRESTLE! She gets very vocal while she wrestles and sounds quite ferocious! She can convince even the laziest of dogs to play with her and she will tease them all day. She likes to chew rawhides and pork skins and nylabones. She will chew a leash or blanket if left alone near one too long, so she is being crated without any blankets currently.

She loves to ride in cars and is very calm and will lie down in the front seat. She is not a distraction while driving like some dogs are.

Come check out sweet Ginger.
