If you are looking for a loving companion, Cherry is perfect for you! She is a small sized dog, about 15 pounds, thought to be a miniature pinscher/Chihuahua mix. She is great with dogs of all sizes and kids of any age. She came from a hoarding situation in TN and went into rescue before being adopted out. On the day of her adoption, she got spooked on her leash and broke free. She then spent 3 months on her own outdoors during the cold winter months. She came to us a little timid and shy from this time on her own, but it took her only a week to appreciate the warmth of a home and a family. She loves to go on walks and play tug with dog toys. I would describe her as a playful and active dog who also appreciates plentiful naps. She would be great with a family interested in a snuggling companion and would do really well with another dog companion. In short...great with family, dogs, cats, and kids...the more the merrier for this sweet girl. Can you be the exceptional home she is looking for?
