Patrick was rescued from a housing project near where his rescuer teaches. Someone had been evicted and the landlord threw out all of their stuff in big garbage bags. They also threw out the kitty, and he was stuck under one of the garbage bags. His rescuer heard him meowing and pulled him to safety. He was so appreciative that he jumped right into her car.
