My name is Shanook. I am an older Retriever/Border Collie mix whose life was tough before coming to Proverbs.I knew hunger, cold, extreme heat, and neglect. I want to be someone's one and only. I want to ride shotgun with you while you run your errands. I want to lie at your feet on your front porch in the warm months. I want to sit by the fire and be your quiet, loyal companion in the winter. I want to go for long walks with you and listen to you think out loud. I want to be loved and valued. My adoption fee is waived,BUT these folks with Proverbs will screen very thoroughly because my original home is the result of no screening.
