Hi there, my name is Rex, and I love life. I’m a happy guy who loves your affection, but I’m just as happy to entertain myself with my toys just the same. I like being around the activity in the house, and might just lay on the floor and chew on a bone while you wash the dishes or cook dinner. I have a gentle disposition with people, and I love playing with my pitbull foster sister. I get along with her great, but am still learning how to interact with some male dogs.

I eat and sleep well, but would rather be around you than in a crate. Once in the crate I do fine, I just don’t like going in it quite yet. I'm told I am a mix of retriever or springer spaniel and some boxer but no one is really sure.

Next week I’m getting a little surgery done on my eyelid, and will be ready to move into a loving home real soon. Could you be my next friend?
