To see this precious picture of this little one, laying with toys is a true example of what love can do. Moonshine was at a high kill shelter, that said this baby could not go into adoption, because his trachea had collapsed. They thought someone possibly tried to hang him. He cowered in the corner but the kennel master had made such a connection with him, she called Proverbs.  In no time, he began to join in with the other dogs. First he would peak out and then run back. But with every day that passed, Moonshine began coming out and participating in the fun, eventually grabbing toys, and finally taking some time in the pool. It took some time, but Moonshine has learned to trust and love humans again!! He is house broken and crates well. He is good with most other dogs, especially females. His foster says he especially loves to cuddle on the couch. He is a small Lab. He weighs 40 lbs. We are looking for a very special family deserving of this wonderful friend that will love you with all his heart.
