There's so much meaning to the name Sam. It's comfortable, friendly, fun, loyal...perfect for a dog. Our Sam is as handsome as Sam Elliot, as down home as Sam Walton. Sam, a Catahoula Shepherd, who is the perfect example of this fine American breed. Inquisitive, Gentle, Energetic, Intelligent, Loving, Independent. But he is also very low maintenance. He's not a huge barker but will bark when there is a reason. Good with cats, may chase if they run but doesn't hurt them, crates well, smart and learns fast and SOOO eager to please....he's a Sam....the best buddy anyone could ever ask for. We are looking for an exceptional family for this amazingly special dog.
