God was having a painting party when he created Jethro. His coat is work of art but so is his personality. Jethro is awesome.
If you want loyal, he's your guy. He is very calm and mild-mannered. He has made himself right at home in my house and is behaving nicely. He is housebroken, doesn't try to get on the furniture (even though he's allowed at my house), and doesn't chew. He sits and stays on command. He doesn't seem thrilled with the cats, so maybe a no-cat home. He is good off leash and obeys very, very well. He's a people-pleaser. He's very smart and would be an awesome dog for a family looking for a low-maintenance dog that will just require lots of love and attention. He is a Heeler. So you know he's smart. He weighs around 45 lbs....and it is obvious he had to have been loved at some point in his life when we found him at the shelter on death row.
We are so thrilled he is safe with us and that we can help find a family that's worthy of this incredible boy!!
