Samson John is a sweet, mellow fellow who was found as a stray then taken to a kill shelter. The volunteers at the shelter saw he was a diamond in the rough and contacted our rescue to take him since he was about to be put to sleep. 

Samson John is an 8 year old, Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He was with a trainer, just to help him learn some really good manners, and he is now in a loving foster home. He is crate trained and house broken. He also  knows basic obedience commands. He is good with dogs, although he prefers the laid back dogs that don't have all the puppy energy. 

Samson John loves car rides, chicken strips as treats, and a good belly rub!  If you want a best friend past all the puppy shenanigans, Samson John is your man!
 
Adopters need to be within 1.5 hour drive from Nashville, TN.
