She is incredibly sweet and friendly. Not sure about her age, but she seems to be fully grown, even though she is rather little (36 lbs). She gets along extremely well with other dogs, rides well in the car, and tolerates baths. She is incredibly sweet-tempered, and rather low-key in terms of energy (although she likes to play with other dogs). She is an AMAZING dog - and would be perfect on a farm or large property. She has been around cattle, turkeys, deer and other wildlife - and has been respectful, does not chase or harass wildlife.
Her favorite spot is on the porch. She is definitely NOT a city/small space dog! She has a very sweet, affectionate, loving temperament, only wants to please you. She is great with other dogs, super playful. She's been trying to teach the puppies to play but that's hopeless so she, Carly and my friends German Shepherd go off and chase/play in the creek together and have a blast.
She is obedient, comes when she's called, and sits patiently for treats (which she LOVES!).
She is crate trained and goes into/stays in crate without hesitation (gets a treat of course). She even goes in and takes naps on her own. I do not use the crate with her anymore - she's fine in the house by herself, and she sleeps in a dog bed next to my bed at night.
She's slowly putting on weight and is starting to enjoy mealtime. She is not food aggressive at all.
She's welcome to stay with me until she's adopted - I mean that! But I'm not sure my place is the best when/if she starts heartworm treatment. No running or playing restrictions would be nearly impossible to manage here.
