Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue seeks quality adoptions, not quantity adoptions. We reserve the right to approve or refuse adoption to anyone. Our adoption decisions are based objectively with only the pet's safety, health, and security in mind.

 

Adopters must be 24+ years of age and have the ability to present a valid photo ID and proof of current address.


Applications

All Applications are considered and reviewed Monday-Friday. Decisions are communicated via email.

 
Approved dog applicants who applied for a specific animal that is still available will receive:

  • An Adoption-Trial Appointment date and time for the next Bellevue Petco Adoption Day (every Saturday from 10am - 12pm)
  • Confirmation of a temporary hold placed on the on the animal 
  • A request for payment via PayPal of the $300 Adoption Fee and $150 Spay/Neuter Deposit (if applicable) to be completed within 24 hours.
    • PLEASE NOTE: Payment does not obligate adoption! A refund will be issued if we are notified of the decision not to adopt by 3pm the day before the Adoption-Trial Appointment. A no call, no show to the Adoption-Trial Appointment will result in forfeiture of the $300 Adoption Fee and $150 Spay/Neuter Deposit (if applicable). 

Approved CAT applicants who applied for a specific animal that is still available will receive:
       
  • Confirmation of a temporary hold placed on the on the animal 
  • A request for payment via PayPal of the $130 Adoption Fee and the Adoption Packet to be completed within 24 hours.



Approved Applications are good for six months and give first dibs on new adoptable! Come see our adoptable dogs at Bellevue Petco Adoption Days every Saturday from 10am - 12pm and follow us on Social Media.

 

Conditional Approved Applications occur if we determine the applied-for animal is not a good fit, we may conditionally approve an Application and work with the adopter to find an appropriate animal.





The FOSTER application is the same as the adoption application for either dogs or cats as many fosters decide to adopt and this ensures all approvals are in place before you fall in love.

We are unable to hold animals, therefore cannot guarantee that the one you saw online will still be available when you submit your application or if/ when the application is approved.
