After all the years I have been in rescue, you would think nothing would shock me,but that isn't the case. Last week we were contacted about this tiny angel (15 ounces at the time she came to us.) This precious wee one, now named Felicity, was found after a drug raid at a convenience store. There were no more pups, no mom, only this tiny,helpless soul.
The wonderful Michelle DeLoach Murphy of Montgomery County got her to our Laura who fed bottle fed her the first night and sinc e then, our amazing Mindy Caudill has been her surrogate mom. As if her surviving a drug raid, being rushed off to an animal control facility, and then to us was not enough to endure, she ended up having emergency surgery this week because a portion of her little tail was dead. Amazingly, this orphaned angel has defied the odds and is now 1 pound and 12 ounces and doing well. Heart felt thanks to all who helped.
