Meet Rowan! If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with movie-star looks and the cutest ears around, Rowan just might be your perfect match. Rowan is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves nothing more than spending time with his people. He’s always up for a car ride and is happiest riding shotgun on your next adventure. Once he feels safe, he’s incredibly devoted and forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. Rowan can be a little reserved when meeting new people, particularly men. However, his foster family has already seen encouraging progress—he recently spent time with a man he decided he loved and even visited a dog park without barking at anyone. With patience, consistency, and positive experiences, his confidence continues to grow. He’s house trained, kennel trained, and knows commands like sit and kennel . At bedtime, he happily goes right into his crate because he knows it’s time to settle in for the night. During the day, a chewy treat is usually all the encouragement he needs! Rowan gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. We’re unsure how he does with cats. He also does well with children, but because of his size and playful energy, he’d be happiest in a home with older kids. Rowan is looking for a patient family that will give him the time he needs to settle in and continue building confidence. The reward is a loyal, loving companion who will be by your side through every adventure—and every quiet moment in between.
