Luke is an incredibly lovable boy who thrives on being close to his person—he’s a true “Velcro dog” who always wants to keep you in sight (even waiting patiently outside the bathroom door like a toddler!).

He enjoys walks and does great around other dogs, showing little interest in them—a huge plus. He still needs to learn to heel, but he loves being on leash and is eager to explore.

Luke’s happy place is outside under a tree or on the patio, and he’s even learning how to play frisbee. He’ll come with his favorite chew toy and Kong, which help with his natural puppy chewing.

At home, he has done well with housetraining, having only one accident. Nights can be a little tough—he gets anxious in the dark, restless, and strong-willed—so a crate may be a big help for him as he settles.

Luke has been redirected from furniture jumping and responds well to consistency. He is still very much a puppy with all the energy, chewing, and playfulness that comes with it, but he is also full of love and will be a loyal companion to his forever family.
