Joy is a female Lab mix
Joy and her sisters, Jovie, Jordyn and Jiselle, were pulled from an unhealthy and dangerous living situation. When they first arrived to safety, they acted very scared of humans and huddled together for security. They quickly realized that they were safe - they tasted good food and clean water, they were held and petted, and spoken to softly. Joy is slightly underweight and dehydrated, but is safe in foster care getting lots of love and attention, and the care she needs. Her rescuers named her Joy because of the look on her face when they saved her - she must have known she was headed for a better life. Joy's sister's have all found their forever homes.
