Meet Billie Jean!! She is the sweet mama found with her three babies, Baxter, Beau & Biscuit. They were found in an abandoned house where the owner was taken away for medical treatment and never returned. Our wonderful Proverbs volunteer found them and worked to catch them all. In what should have been a feral situation, Billie Jean and all her puppies were so sweet and social!! But they were also starved and hairless.  We gathered them up...have fed them, loved on them, vetted them, and they are now ready for their forever homes.

Billie Jean is good with dogs but does chase cats....not to hurt but to play. So probably needs to go to home without cats. She is smaller than she looks. Unlike her babies, she weighs 35 lbs. She is also on 25" high. We are thinking she is a collie mix  She's a great mama...sweet and kind.  We are now looking for a forever home for her...one as sweet and kind as she is.  Please consider Billie Jean as your friend for life!
