As a foster-based rescue with no physical shelter, all adoptions and meet & greets take place at our weekly Adoption event.
How the Adoption Process Works
- Submit an Online Application
- Applications must be submitted online (we do not accept paper applications).
- Applications are reviewed Monday–Friday.
- Please allow 1–3 business days for review.
- You will receive an email with our decision—please monitor your inbox.
- Application Review
- If approved for a specific dog still available, you will receive an appointment time for the next Saturday Adoption Event.
- All fees and completed paperwork are due to hold this appointment.
- If the dog you applied for is not the best match, you may receive a conditional approval and we will work with you to find a better fit.
- Meet & Greets
Bellevue Petco 10am-Noon EVERY Saturday.
- Some available dogs attend the weekly event for introductions. Check out our social media every friday to see who will be there.
- Because we are foster-based, meet & greets are not available outside of this Saturday event.
- We do not review applications at the event.
Adoption Requirements
- Adopters must be 24 years or older
- Must provide a valid photo ID with current address
- If renting, landlord approval is required
Adoption Fees
- Adult Dogs: $350
- Spayed/neutered
- Current on vaccinations
- Heartworm Negative
- On monthly preventatives
- Microchipped
- Puppies: $350
- Microchipped
- Receive a series of four puppy shots
- Spay/neuter included
- If additional shots are needed, they are given during Bellevue Petco Adoption Days (Saturdays, 10:30 AM – 12 PM)

- We believe adoption trials are the best way to see how a cat will adapt to your home and lifestyle.
